The Management Committee of the NUT FCT Wing Co-operative Society Limited, Abuja, wishes to formally inform you of a temporary delay in hosting our Annual General Meeting (AGM).
We understand the importance of this meeting to our members. However, this postponement has become necessary due to the following critical administrative/operational reasons:
- Massive Historical Data Migration: To transition seamlessly into our digital era, we have undertaken the monumental task of migrating all transaction history from the inception of the cooperative’s operations in 2011 to date.
- Rigorous Error Debugging: Moving fifteen (15years) of complex financial data has been incredibly tasking and time-consuming. We are currently in the vital phase of identifying and debugging system data errors.
- Resolving Member Complaints: This data verification and debugging process is ongoing simultaneously with capturing, addressing, and resolving individual transaction complaints received from our members.
- Delayed Account Reconciliations: Because our technical resources were heavily directed toward the deployment of this customized mobile app and the data overhaul, the reconciliation of our 2025 financial accounts was pushed back.
PROPOSED NEW TIMELINE
We are working tirelessly around the clock to conclude these technical processes. Management is currently targeting early December 2026 for the conduct of the AGM. A formal notice confirming the exact date, time, and venue will be communicated to all members as soon as the accounts are finalized.
🚨 URGENT ACTIONS REQUIRED: TWO-WEEK CUTOFF DATE
To align your records with the new system, please visit our official web portal at www.nutfctcoop.net to perform the following mandatory steps.
The strict deadline for these actions is Wednesday, 11th November 2026:
- Dividend Payment Pre-requisite: Members are expected to access the app or portal, update their respective bank account details, and review and confirm the correctness of these details for seamless crediting.
• NOTE: Members who fail to update or confirm the correctness of their bank account details on the platform by 11th November 2026 will not receive their dividends at the forthcoming AGM until they comply with this instruction. - Mandatory 2027 Savings Review: With this new software app deployment, the annual Savings Review for the Year 2027 shall be done exclusively via the app by respective members henceforth.
• NOTE: Consequently, manual savings reviews will no longer be entertained at the cooperative office as previously done over the years.
